Our volunteers from a recent trip to Maasai Land in Tanzania. All dressed up in traditional Maasai shuckas and kangas and beautiful traditional beadwork for an evening celebration with the community. Lots of dancing and singing on both parts.

Here is a sewing shop that is set up by volunteers from Canada, Karen Schrey , Jean Miller, Bonnie Youngman and Joyce E. Elliott June. This shop is doing very well, creates employment and an opportunity to learn a new skill for some of our mamas. They're even learning a little English!

Please click on the DONATE button on our page - MaasaiFriends4Good to help us continue to support these Maasai people, especially women and children. Every donation counts and 100% goes to support projects like this one!

Lauren, our volunteer, is giving the children their first breakfast when they come to school. The food program was founded and launched by this dynamic group of volunteers. It came to their attention that the kids were coming to school hungry -- they will learn better with nourishment! According to Kressa, the volunteer trip leader, this captured moment is special because when the children were asked to draw a picture of a volunteer, everyone drew the cups of porridge and the big pot. Obviously being fed was very important for them.
