WHAT TO PACK?🎒

This is one of our most frequently asked questions, so we’ve put together a simple list to help:

🔲 Food – Whether kibble or raw, please bring enough for the entire stay. Keep in mind your dog will likely be more active than at home, so packing an extra day or two is always a good idea (just in case of
travel delays, too).

🔲 Collar – A basic, comfortable collar is perfect for their visit. If it has spikes or chains, we’ll likely switch it.
Please note: charms, name tags, and hanging accessories are the most commonly lost items. Sometimes they turn up quickly… sometimes years later.

🔲 Medication – If your dog takes any medications regularly or may need them during their stay, be sure to include them.

🔲 Sweater or Coat – For dogs that use jackets during cooler months.

🔲 Treats (Optional) – Especially important if your dog has allergies or sensitivities, as we may not have suitable options on hand.

🔲 Small Blanket or Quilt (Optional) –
We have beds and cots that we use here, so a blanket from home is always nice as a topper (Please no dog beds.)

This is just our list, however we know every dog is different and may have their own must-have, can't go without items, and we want those too!
For example:
Bella can’t be without her baby (a chicken toy). She always knows exactly where it is—she’s a very dedicated chicken momma.

Dior needs his pajamas in the evening to prevent over-grooming himself

Ramon requires his muzzle right before pickup, as car rides get him worked up and he may try to chew the seats.

Cava uses a snood due to excessive head shaking, which can cause ear-tip abrasions, her “hat” helps prevent that.

If you’re ever unsure about what to bring, just ask—we’re happy to help make your dog’s stay as comfortable as possible!
