Playground is the Lower Mainland's first Hip-Hop Fitness Studio established in 2015. Playground offers body rocking, bass dropping, group fitness and personal training in South Burnaby.

What started as a vision is now a community I’m incredibly proud of. Playground exists because of the people who walk through these doors and choose to show up, not just for themselves, but for each other.

I’m endlessly grateful for this community. For the early mornings, the late nights, the shared suffering, the laughs between sets, and the people who show up even when life is heavy. You don’t just train hard, you support harder.

This space is built by people who believe in each other. Who celebrate wins, carry each other through setbacks, and choose consistency over comfort. Thank you for trusting us, pushing each other, and making Playground feel like home.

This is bigger than fitness. This is community. ♥️♥️♥️

The heart, teamwork, and passion on display were incredible to witness. What this crew showed in Toronto went far beyond competition. 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Podium or not, the camaraderie, love, and support between these athletes and from everyone around them, was something special to see.

Huge congrats to 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞, 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧, and 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧 for putting Playground on the podium at 𝘏𝘠𝘙𝘖𝘟 𝘛𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰.

✅ Set up: Load a barbell with plates and get on your knees.
✅ Grip: Keep your hands shoulder-width apart.
✅ Roll out: Slowly extend the bar forward, keeping your core braced and back straight.
✅ Controlled return: Engage your core to pull the bar back to the starting position.

💡 Pro Tip: Keep your hips from sagging and avoid arching your back—focus on control!
