We’re extremely proud to announce the 2026 Ringette BC Award Winners, honoured at our Annual Awards Banquet on May 30, 2026 in Sun Peaks. These individuals have shown exceptional leadership, commitment and passion, lifting their communities and strengthening ringette across BC.

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to honour the histories, cultures and contributions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. We acknowledge the Indigenous lands where we live, work and play, and we recommit to learning, listening and building stronger, respectful relationships with Indigenous communities across BC.

We invite our ringette community to celebrate, learn more about local Indigenous knowledge and culture, and support Indigenous-led initiatives throughout the month.

Please join us in welcoming our new Community Sport Coordinator, Tanya Magee to the Ringette BC team! We’re thrilled to have her on board!

Tanya brings a strong sport‑development background, spanning across coaching, officiating, event management, plus hands‑on experience supporting clubs and volunteers. She’s a Chartered Professional Coach with coaching experience at multiple levels and a degree in Physical Education and Coaching. Tanya is also active in her local sporting community where her two daughters play ringette and she serves as Vice‑President of a track & field club.

In her role, Tanya will work with associations and leagues across BC to strengthen program delivery, build volunteer capacity, coordinate communications and resources, and support growth across the province. We’re excited about the energy and expertise she’s already contributing and look forward to what’s ahead!

Interested in coaching at the zone level? 2026/27 Zone Coach Applications are open for Head & Assistant roles. Head apps due June 1; Assistant due July 1. CI certification required (complete by Jan 15, 2027). Good standing and CRC/volunteer screening required. After the application period closes, all complete applications will be reviewed. Shortlisted coaches will be invited to a virtual interview.
