🌟 What is different about me?

🔎 Gap Analysis: As an experienced tutor, I diagnose why my students struggle so they can methodically improve! After you give me an idea of what you are struggling with, I'll provide a quick diagnostic test to get us started. Together the student and I will come up with topics to focus on, for which I will create lessons for. Once the student and I are both aligned on a goal and where we are starting from, it becomes much easier to journey towards understanding.

📚 About me

My name is Brandon and I am passionate about helping students fully comprehend the math they are looking to learn! I want my students to have their ideal future career path is available to them. I have two years of professional experience teaching in-person and at a learning centre. I also was a senior software engineer at a financial technology startup! Students that have worked with me say that I am fun to learn with and have the skill to get to the heart of knowledge gaps. I have also played years of competitive volleyball, soccer, and baseball which helps me bring a fun atmosphere to my lessons.

I cater to high-school, university, and adult students that are looking to create or maintain a strong foundation in math. I don’t believe short-term engagements wherein one is taught to just pass a test. I believe consistency is crucial in education, as a consistent educational environment contributes significantly to students’ emotional well-being. I believe in cultivating understanding, and there are no shortcuts to that!
