SFU Rugby went paddling beyond the pitch 🛶☀️

Big thanks to alumni for taking us out on the water and giving us the chance to try canoe racing together. Between some friendly competition, lots of laughs, and a few unexpected swims, it was a day we'll be talking about for a long time!

Here's to trying new things, making memories, and taking on challenges together—on and off the rugby field ❤️💙

That’s a wrap on the season!

SFU Women left everything on the field this weekend. In tough heat, they delivered a strong performance but came up short, falling 28-7 after an incredible battle. The effort, resilience, and determination were clear from start to finish, and we couldn’t be prouder of the group.

🔵 Forward of the Match: Quinn Smith 🔵

was a constant source of strength all game. Even as the heat intensified, he kept her work rate high, supporting at nearly every ruck and making key tackles. Another standout performance earns him Player of the Match for the second week in a row.

🔴 Back of the Match: Zahara Adomi 🔴

had an outstanding game, scoring a try to bring things level at halftime. She worked tirelessly in the centres, making big tackles and creating strong breaks through the defence. A well-deserved recognition for an impressive performance.
