Those Eligible:
Ages 9-14 and/or grades 4-8 (only eligible to submit to one CFEE contest within the year)
Submission format:
Please submit videos no longer than 3 minutes
Final Date for Submission:
Midnight EST Thursday, April 1, 2021
Prizes:
$2,000 first prize
$1,000 second prize
$500 for third prize

When to teach your child financial literacy?

There is no exact age when&what to teach your child about the measure of finances.
But a rough familiarity with the world of finance can be broken down into the following stages:
•introduction to money- from 4yrs old
•learning to consciously spend money- from 5yrs old
•earning allowance money & learning how to manage it wisely- from 7yrs old
•introduction to more complex concepts of finance: banks, credit cards- from 10yrs old
•deeper knowledge about finance: opportunity to invest&earn money on your own- from 12-14yrs old.
