🌿🐾 **First Day in the Park for Beavers!** ☀️

What a fantastic start for our Beavers at **4th Southwest Burnaby**! With beautiful weather on our side, we kicked off the season outdoors—running, playing, exploring, and sharing lots of smiles. 🌳

From games in the sunshine to making new friends, it was the perfect way to begin our adventures together. We’re excited for all the fun, learning, and memories still to come!

Here’s to a great year ahead! 💙

that World Scouting has its own special scarf?

The iconic purple scarf is adorned with the Scout emblem and is exclusively worn by members of the Purple Team, comprising dedicated World and Regional Committee members, staff, volunteers and World Scout Foundation board members and staff.

Here's an interesting fact: the purple scarf can only be worn when a member is "on duty", and it's not meant to be exchanged. So, if you're interested in joining the Purple Team and earning your own WOSM scarf, consider applying for volunteer or staff roles, or even becoming a Committee member. 😎

Are you ready for some fun? Join us for our indoor and outdoor carnival, where we’ll enjoy some games, candy, crafts, and more! Show up in your family-friendly costume, bounce on some inflatables, and complete our “Big Top Challenge” to receive a special prize! Dress for the weather, since our Big Top tent will be outside. We’ll also have our indoor Preschool Area, Photobooth, and food available for purchase at our Café. We hope to see you there!

The adventures, the challenges, the growth — they all lead to something great: becoming an Eagle Scout.
