Burlington Scouts came into existence in 1958 as "Burlington District" with the amalgamation of several groups from Burlington and the surrounding area. There are multiple active groups providing Scouting to approximately 800 members. The service area stretches outside the city limits of Burlington and encompasses the additional communities of Waterdown, Kilbride, and Carlisle. The sponsor/partner

There is some sad news to share in our Scouting family. The long-serving manager of Oakville Scout Shop, who so many of us knew so well, Lydia Turczynski, has passed away.

Good evening fellow Scouters,
We are very saddened to inform everyone that Scouter Ron MacKay has peacefully "Gone Home."
Ron has been a long time Scouter with 31st Burlington where he's been a Cub Leader, a Scout Leader and a Venturer Advisor.
Scouter Ron always had a great story to tell, a positive can do attitude and led by example.
See you further down the trail Scouter Ron.
This past weekend we went to the Renaissance Faire! With amazing weather all through the weekend, over 750 campers had a fun weekend of making new friends and gaining some awesome memories. Check out our photos from the camp archives:
