Happy Friday, campers! 🌅🌲

We are officially less than ten days away from the Summer Solstice, which means we are currently enjoying some of the longest, brightest days of the entire year.

In many parts of the country, the sun isn't setting until well past 9:00 PM! These extended twilight hours are the absolute best part of June camping. It means more time for evening paddles, longer hikes without rushing back, and plenty of daylight to perfectly toast your marshmallows before the stars come out.

How to make the most of these long summer nights:

Ditch the Screens: Put the phones on airplane mode and challenge the family to a sunset board game tournament on the picnic table.

The Twilight Walk: Grab a flashlight and take a walk around the campground loop just as the sun goes down—it's the best time to safely spot local wildlife!

Late-Night Stargazing: With the weather warming up, you can finally stay out late enough to watch the constellations appear without needing your heavy winter parka.

Are you hitching up and heading out this weekend to chase the sunset? Let us know where you are camping in the comments! 🚐💨

As we head into the peak summer season, our beautiful Canadian campgrounds are buzzing with activity. 🏕️🤗

Whether you are a seasoned full-timer or a family taking your rented RV out for the very first time, a little campground etiquette goes a long way in making sure everyone has a fantastic trip.

Let’s review the "Unwritten Rules" of the campground!

The Top 3 Campground Golden Rules:

The "Living Room" Rule: A campsite is a camper’s outdoor living room. Never walk through someone else’s occupied campsite as a shortcut to the beach or the washrooms. Always stick to the designated paths and roads!

Lights Out, Stars Out: Those bright exterior RV LED lights are amazing for setting up in the dark, but be sure to turn them off when you head inside for the night. It helps keep the bugs away and lets your neighbours enjoy the starry night sky.

The Quiet Morning: "Quiet hours" don't just apply to late-night campfires. Be mindful of slamming RV doors or running noisy generators early in the morning while your neighbours are still sleeping.

Good neighbours make the best campsites! What is your number one piece of etiquette advice for new campers? Let us know below! 👇

Camping Changes Lives.

The impact of camping goes far beyond a weekend getaway.

Camping helps families reconnect, builds confidence in young people, creates lifelong memories, strengthens communities, and fosters a deeper appreciation for the outdoors. For many Canadians, some of life's most meaningful experiences happen around a campfire, on a hiking trail, or at a campground shared with family and friends.

That's why we're proud that Canadian RV & Camping Month also supports Care Camps.

Care Camps helps children affected by cancer experience the joy, adventure, friendship, and healing power of camp. Through the support of campground owners, campers, industry partners, and organizations across Canada, more children can access life-changing camp experiences when they need them most.

As you celebrate Canadian RV & Camping Month this June, you're also helping shine a light on an incredible cause that demonstrates the positive impact camping can have on people's lives.

Because camping doesn't just create vacations.

It creates connections. It creates confidence. It creates memories.

And sometimes, it changes lives.
