Last night we hosted our '5 Marketing Actions That Matter for Physios' webinar, offered exclusively for Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) members!
It was such an engaged group of physios, and the marketing questions were so thoughtful that we ran right up to the end. We showed the 5 free things you can do for your clinic's marketing & we gave attendees their 'marketing' plan of care 🤓
We walked through:
-How to get found when someone is searching for physio care
-How to bring new patients to your website without paying for ads
-How to help people feel confident choosing you before they reach out
-How to stay top of mind so patients come back or refer someone
-How to show up when people search Google or ask AI tools their physio questions
And all you need is 1 hour/week!
Thank you to everyone who showed up!
Amazing time, amazing questions, and an amazing life that we can help make marketing accessible for clinic owners and physiotherapists 🧡
Here's what we keep seeing:
-No blog. Blogging sends strong signals to Google, builds long-term traffic you own, and feeds AI search engines.
-No condition pages. Build a page for every condition you treat. Helps you rank locally for "low back pain Burlington," "headaches Hamilton," etc.
-No embedded map. Embed a Google Map tied to your Google Business Profile, or link your address to it. Strong local signal.
-Broken links. Click through your own site. Test the buttons. Broken links hurt rankings and trust.
Fix those 4 things and your clinic site will stand out from 90% of the competition.
Want to see how your Google reviews stack up against other Osteo clinics?
This free tool shows you the average review count for Osteopaths (and other professions as well)! The tool is linked in the comments.
Local content doesn't need to be forced. Mention your city once and show something recognizable from your area.
That's enough to signal relevance. Overdoing it feels unnatural.
Marketing for your clinic shouldn't feel like uphill on a flat tire.
Cliniverse is where physio, chiro, massage, and osteo clinic owners learn what actually works, get the templates and tools to do it, and have a team behind them when they get stuck.
Faster than the bike, we promise. 🚴♀️
If you have a packed schedule and don't want to waste time on tire-kickers, add more friction to the process of contacting you.
This can be as simple as adding more questions and steps on your contact form.
The more friction, the less likely someone will reach out to you if they aren't truly interested.
If you're a Physio spending money on marketing or not sure if you're doing the right things, this is for you!

Your bio has one job: tell people who you help and how to book.
If a visitor can't figure that out in 3 seconds, it's broken.
Everything else is secondary.

A clinic owner came to us a few months ago sure he needed a new website.
ChatGPT was recommending 6 competitors above him every time he asked for the best physio in his city.
So we did the obvious thing. Pulled up Google for each clinic ChatGPT named.
He had ~175 reviews. The top competitor had close to 800. Four of the six had way more than him.
It wasn't a website problem. It was a review problem.
If you're a clinic owner (or any local business owner) wondering why you're not showing up in Google or AI search the way you used to, the answer is almost always simpler than you'd expect.
We just published a full breakdown with real benchmark data on how many reviews you actually need to compete. Link in the first comment.
