Vanessa Simone has been creating geometric artwork since 2006. Daughter of local artist Deborah Downey and entrepreneur Donald Downey, Simone grew up surrounded by award winning multi media artwork and technical engineering which led to her own evolution into geometric artwork on Isometric paper.
. Her artwork is a personal investigation into geometric representations of ideas that can be realized
You never know when showing up will become a huge breakthrough for your craft! This past week at the I saw an artist using this technique and my brain exploded with possibility.
My biggest hurdle in doing non geometric artwork is learning how to be loose in sketching and getting proportions right in composition. I am excited to see how this will help me develop my artwork in new ways!

Robins: The next generation 🥰 How adorable is the first one with the babies cuddling?! These shots were not easy to get as I had to find, focus, and then hold the camera out hoping I got them in frame. Momma tucked them away in a perfect spot hidden from predators.

Little pieces with mighty impact that I got for my own collection at our Spring Fling Sale this past weekend:
