🌻Join Us Every Weekend at HOPE! 🌻

Looking for a welcoming place to connect? Join us every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 20 Darling Street.

Saturdays are all about connection, conversation, laughter, and fun! We always have optional activities planned, but there's never any pressure to participate. You can join in as much or as little as you'd like.

This Saturday, we're playing one of our all-time favourites. BINGO! It's always a great time filled with laughs, friendly competition, and great company. We hope you'll join us!

Sundays offer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. At 1:00 p.m., we host an optional peer support group where everyone has the opportunity to check in and talk about how their week has been. If someone is facing a challenge, the group offers encouragement and support through shared lived experience. You're welcome to participate or simply sit back and listen, whatever feels comfortable for you.

So, whether you're looking for connection, conversation, support, or just a friendly place to enjoy a cup of coffee, our doors are open. One-on-one peer support is also available if you'd like to speak with someone privately.

🌿 Join Us for Walk & Talk!

Come on out and join us tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5, for another Walk & Talk adventure!

This week we'll be exploring the Shallow Creek Trail. If you haven't visited since it was cleaned up, you're in for a treat. It's become a beautiful place to enjoy nature and a peaceful walk.

After our walk, we'll be making a pitstop for a special treat that we have planned for everyone. To find out what our little surprise is, come on out and join us.

Please note our new start time:
We meet at 10:30 a.m.
at 20 Darling Street, and we'll be leaving promptly at 10:50 a.m. to catch the bus. As always, there is no charge for the bus.

Come enjoy some fresh air, beautiful scenery, great conversation, and all the mental health benefits that come from walking together in nature.

We can't wait to see you tomorrow! 🌻

Our August Activity Calendar is here, and we've planned five weeks of fun for our weekend Drop-In program!

Whether you'd like to join one of our activities or simply relax with a great cup of Altitude Coffee Roasters coffee, you're always welcome. Enjoy a game of cards, do some colouring, work on a word puzzle, chat with friends, or just spend time in a safe, welcoming space.

If you're having a difficult weekend, please remember that one-on-one peer support is always available from our trained Peer Support Specialists. You don't have to go through it alone. We're here to listen.

Walk & Talk CANCELED Tomorrow
Wednesday, July 22

Unfortunately, we have to cancel this week's Walk & Talk program due to illness. Our hike leaders are unavailable, and we don't have enough volunteers to safely run the program.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

The good news is we'll be back on Wednesday, July 29, at 11:00 a.m., and we can't wait to get back out on the trails with everyone!

In the meantime, if you're able, we encourage you to get outside for a walk on your own or with a friend. Even a short walk can help reduce stress, improve your mood, and boost your overall well-being.

Take care of yourselves, have a wonderful week, and remember...Your mood will thank you for taking that first step. 🌻

We'll see you next Wednesday!
