In the IMA program, students learn the top industry standards in the interactive design world, and a Maybe you just like making things.

Maybe you want to help make the kind of TV, radio, web or animated games you enjoy. Maybe you love juggling all the pieces of a design puzzle to get just the right “look”. Maybe you have great ideas and want to be part of a team that makes those ideas live on the screen. Maybe you’re a creative leader who wants to take smart risks and take charge. Major in one of the future forward careers in our new Interactive Media Arts (IMA)diploma program.

We would like to invite you to come to the Game Jam happening this weekend at ACC. The Game Jam is run by the WestJam gaming community and is open to everyone of every skill level. Join a group of coders, artists, and musicians and challenge yourself to develop a simple game over a weekend. It's a great way to develop skills and community. There will be lots of friendly collaboration and snacks.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝘀 (𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘)
𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁-𝗪𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗵

In the lead up to the Game Jam at the AGSM, this 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 intro session will provide an orientation into the what to expect from a Game Jam and how to prepare. This session will provide an introduction into the tools, apps, roles, functions and general workflows that can be used during Game Jams to create a video game prototype.

If you are interested in exploring video game design and participating in a game jam, this session will provide you with an orientation on how to get started!
