I think our skating season has come to an end!


Big thanks to everyone who helped scrape, work the shack and maintain the ice. It was another successful season. See you all next winter!

The shack (and our skating oval)may be closed, but we are still open for a bit more skating as long as the ice holds up. A fresh flood tonight but likely our last.

A Big thanks to our ice makers, our snow clearing crew, ice shack workers and volunteers for all your hard work this winter!

Just a reminder the Rink will be booked for this event on the 13th of February.

Ready to hit the ice or help someone take their very first glide? Skate Start is a FREE introductory program for ALL ages, led by Learn to Skate instructors and perfect for new skaters or anyone wanting to build confidence on the ice!

📝 How to Register:
✔️ Registration is based on skate size — all ages welcome!
✔️ Registration opens at noon the day before each lesson.
✔️ Helmets and skates are available to borrow.
✔️ Bringing your own skates or gear? Please RSVP using the provided link below/QR code.

🌤️ All sessions are weather dependent. Participants will be contacted if any changes occur. We highly suggest following our social media pages for the most up‑to‑date information.

Valleyview Community Centre is currently missing 2 of our big black and 2 of our recycling bins. We believe they went missing last week. Replacement cost is well over 700 dollars so we would love to see them returned.

Wednesdays at Valleyview

starting tomorrow Sept 24th, every Wednesday until the end of June, Valleyview Community Centre has free Youth programming! Ages 8-15. 4-6:30pm.

Very sad to report we had some damage to our Valleyview spray pad over the last couple of days. Disappointing to see such senseless vandalism to our facilities
