Itās that time, please join us in introducing our latest member into The 100 Class Club, CAROLINEš
We donāt know if weāve had anyone make their 100 classes in such record time, she joined in February of 2026 š¤Æ
Caroline has been in the functional fitness game for a long time, roughly 10 years! She refuses to stay sedentary, not an option. Small injuries and impingements have tried to slow her down but she adjusts, scaling movements or asking for another option. Her determination is incredibly admirable, excused donāt live in Carolineās mind.
Caroline has many admirable qualities- strong willed, hard to compete with worth ethic, gritty, hilarious and incredibly family oriented. Her family is her everything - she, her husband, her daughter and her parents have an unbreakable bond. Itās brings DF so much joy to see her entire family throwing weights around together. We just have to mention, to know Carolineās parents is to love them š„°
Gymnastics, weight lifting, rowing, running and everything in between - Caroline can do it all, and do it all so well. Youāre not in the game as long as she has been without a certain level of confidence and refuse to quit mentality.
We are lucky to have this lady under our roof - catch yah at 250 Caroline š
Because we love it.

June is recognized as Menās Mental Health and PTSD Awareness Month, a time to bring attention to the challenges faced by millions of people living with the effects of trauma, stress, and mental health struggles. PTSD can impact veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, athletes, and everyday people who have experienced difficult events. Fitness and community are not a cure, but they can be powerful tools in supporting mental well-being and reminding people that they donāt have to face challenges alone.
On June 27th, DeadSet Fitness is opening our doors to everyone for a workout in recognition of PTSD Awareness Month. Whether youāre a member, a friend, a first responder, a veteran, or someone simply looking to support an important cause, we invite you to join us. Come move, sweat, connect, and stand with those affected by PTSD.
Together, we can raise awareness, start conversations, and show that no one fights their battles alone.

Itās time to welcome another member into the sought after, 250 Class Club, KARA š
Joining us in October of 2024, Kara wasted no time - she got to work, going to class on average 4 times a week with her beloved Noon Crew.
Strong is an understatement - Kara makes squatting 215lbs look effortless and can clean and jerk over 165lbs, not to mention she is a force on a rower, can run long distance as well as sprint and if that wasnāt enough? She can do full toes to bar and pull-ups š¤©
Being comfortable at being uncomfortable, thatās where growth comes from. That is Kara - open to trying whatever is thrown her way, and if she thinks there is room for improvement, sheās hungry for it. Back in November, Kara competed in her first CrossFit competition. She threw down against a large group of incredibly fit ladies from across the provinceā¦. She won her division šš¤Æ
Kara is a force that cannot be stopped - we are so jacked to watch her endless progression šŖš»š¤š»
Just a lil message from Coach Brooke - it will NEVER be the perfect time to start. We can all benefit from structured, goal driven programming, literally all of us. We also can all benefit from being coached by some of the most motivating, encouraging and knowledgeable individuals we will meet.
Just try it, put yourself out of your comfort zone - thatās where the growth happensšš»

You donāt need to be perfect. You just need to be consistent.
Thirty days from now, youāll either have 30 days of excuses or 30 days of progress.
The choice starts today.
Letās make June a great month. š„šŖ

You know what it is, please join us in welcoming the latest inductee into the prestigious 250 Class Club, DANNA š
Danna is actually at about 270 classes as she tends to stay silent about her wins - this is not uncommon, often taking the back corner spot of the gym, Danna silently slays. Like every day. No seriously. Danna averages 5-6 days a week at the gym but is also a dedicated runner so she sneaks those in through the week as wellš¤Æ
Danna was dragged to DeadSet by her longtime friend Allie in February of 2025. Allie may regret this from time to time as Danna has become savage competition to Allie - we know itās not all about āwinningā the workout, but somehow that message got lost between those two.
Sheās no stranger to competition though, Danna has been running half marathons and various other distances for years - one being the 2025 World Police and Fire games in Alabama where she took home a shiny medal š„
It was only natural to expect Danna to jump headfirst into fitness competitions where she has fit in like an old pro - taking on both partner and individual throw downs šŖš»
Danna was strong when we started, now sheās a friggen BEAST. Just this week at 5:30am, we watched her clean and jerk 150lbs! She squats and deadlifts well over 200lbs - sheās an endurance maniac, she can confidently tackle rope climbs, pull ups and toes to barā¦. At this point we ask, is there anything she canāt do?!
Keep kickin ass Danna š¤š»

Last week a group self assembled to grind through this workout in support of Mission 22 ā a movement dedicated to supporting veterans and active military members facing PTSD, mental health challenges, and su***de risk through recovery programs, community support, and awareness initiatives.
The ā22ā comes from a widely recognized statistic that an estimated 22 veterans per day died by su***de in the United States, while we donāt have exact stat but itās expected Canadian numbers are similar, it serves as a powerful reminder of the mental health struggles many service members face and the importance of support, connection, and community.
Veteran, active service member of any kind, whoever you are - mental health matters. No one fights alonešš»
We will definitely be doing this one again š„
