Looking to take your construction career to the next level. We’re looking to hire journeyperson carpenters at Walsh Construction.

Responsibilities include:

✴ Framing windows, doors, closets and other structures
✴ Reading building plans for carpentry specifications
✴ Using power tools to prepare masonry, lumber and concrete for carpentry builds and installations
✴ Following Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines
✴ Creating foundational structures

We're looking for a Flatwork Crew Foreman to join the team!

Qualifications are as followed:

Supervision and Leadership

✴ Lead and motivate a team of concrete flatwork workers.
✴ Assign tasks and ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
✴ Monitor crew performance and provide training and guidance as needed.
✴ Maintain a safe and organized worksite.

Project Management

✴ Plan and coordinate flatwork projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
✴ Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
✴ Manage materials and equipment, ensuring they are available and in good working order.
✴ Address any issues or problems that arise on the job site.

It has been quite a year for us on the job! We got dirty, we built many farm shops and ICF basements, and we had some good laughs along the way. 🤣

We know that 2025 might not be everyone's favourite year, but we're looking towards what's to come as we spend our final day counting down to the new year.

Put simply, a well-insulated basement with durable, long-lasting insulation that would minimize any thermal bridging and heat loss. Would be great on cold, winter days (wink, wink) 😉
