For Jenna: to honour the two babies you hold forever in your heart until you can hold them forever in Heaven.

I know I’ve been really absent here lately… and in my email.
I was recently diagnosed with “late onset postpartum depression.”
Things felt really heavy for a long time and I let my mind convince me life would be better without me in it.
I was admitted to hospital for treatment of major depressive disorder. Intensive therapy and medication changes. I’m so glad that I got help and didn’t let this silent monster pull me under with it.
I am finally home now. I’m okay but it will be a long road to normal again.
I’m still working on orders as it’s actually something that keeps me grounded to myself. Art has always been my passion even in darkness.
I love this little business and the support you all show me in so many different ways.
As I know many of you are mothers yourself, I wanted to share this in case you feel as alone as I did.
It’s okay and there’s nothing wrong with you, it’s very common and very treatable.
You deserve to feel like you again 🤍 If you need help finding help- we can muddle our way through together. My inbox is always open.

For Kerianne,
A mother who despite her own grief - nourished another baby boy with breastmilk meant for her own that she could no longer hold.
Kerianne, you kept going so that another mother’s baby could be fed with liquid golden love.
That’s the strength of a warrior.
Please wear this ring like a medal of honour because that is what it is and you deserve it 🤍

A little bit of science and a whole lot of love 🤍
Sam and Scott reached out to me to see if I could help them honour the birth of their sweet daughter Helina.
A long awaited journey after 5 years of infertility and failed IVF treatments.
They both wanted a ring including Helina’s umbilical cord and Sam’s breastmilk to honour their strength and courage through the storm to get to their rainbow 🌈
What better way to honour Helina’s birth than preserving her first connection to her mama (and dad - since the placenta and umbilical cord uses primarily dad’s DNA 🧬). Cool hey?
We chose a Men’s Black Ceramic Channel Ring + Women’s Yellow Gold Plated Braided Marquise Ring to showcase both the umbilical cord and breastmilk together.

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭!
Have 3 kids and would prefer 3 birthstones instead?
𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐞! 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞.
Bracelets are the perfect piece of keepsake jewellery as the resin is safest from most damage and chemical exposure due to its location on the wrist instead of the hand.
(Aka - even gold plated jewellery can be worn daily and still remain heirloom quality).
These bracelets really are the sweetest way to preserve your motherhood jewellery, your loved one’s ashes or another keepsake you hold dear to your heart.
I can’t wait to get started on one for you and share your story🤍

A beautiful set created for first time mom Hannah (from New York) to honour and remember her sweet baby boy, Henry Beau.
Before coming Earth-side, Henry was unexpectedly welcomed back into the arms of his Father in Heaven.
After his birth - his parents were left brokenhearted, grieving and longing to keep a piece of him with them.
Hannah was able to collect the colostrum that was meant to nourish Henry and knew she wanted to do something special with it.
She found me on Etsy and we discussed custom jewellery options to include her small sample of liquid gold.
Hannah mailed it to me in Canada and I got to work preserving it and turning it into a wearable piece of love.
There’s an old saying that, “spilled breastmilk” goes to babies in Heaven 👼
So, when creating these pieces I made sure to “spill” the preserved breastmilk powder into the bezels before adding the resin with the hope some breastmilk makes it to Henry.
I also hope that these keepsakes help remind you Hannah of the special and unbreakable bond between you and Henry. Until you meet again 🤍

Small but mighty.
Prairie Keepsake Jewellery may not be as big as some other brands and influencers but that does not mean my work is not influential.
Thank you to those who have trusted and believed in me the past 4 years to create unique and meaningful heirloom pieces to honour your memories and loved ones 🤍
May 2026 introduce me to more individuals and families that I can help make smile and make whole again through my art.
** Trigger warning: Infant Loss **
Abrielle was born prematurely due to maternal preeclampsia. Ashley remembers “feeling fine” but being told by doctors she was one of the sickest people in the hospital.
After being educated by doctors and taking careful consideration, Ashley and her husband decided to go ahead with an early c-section to bring Abrielle earth side safely.
They welcomed a beautiful baby girl that same day - June 11th 2023.
It was expected that Abrielle would need to stay in NICU for a while due to being premature.
Everything went to plan until a little over a week after Abrielle was born. Abrielle started to have “episodes” and needed increasingly higher care.
It was later discovered Abrielle had Infant Necrotizing Enterocolitis. A complication often seen in premature babies that had caused her bowels to stop working and die. Despite all their efforts the doctors were unable to help Abrielle any further.
Just ten days after welcoming their sweet angel they had to give Abrielle one last kiss goodbye.
Any parent’s worst nightmare.
I was filled with so much emotion, empathy and sorrow for Abrielle and her parents while creating these keepsakes.
I would be lying if I said I did not shed many tears working with the last of Abrielle’s physical keepsakes:
• Her sweet and tiny lock of chestnut coloured hair.
• Her mother Ashley’s breastmilk that came in to nourish a baby she no longer held.
• Her gravesite soil containing her grandfather’s ashes that were scattered over her burial site for protection.
• Forget Me Not flowers to add colour and signify true love, remembrance and everlasting connection.
Thank you Ashley for allowing me to grieve and honour Abrielle’s short life with you.
I hope these pieces allow you to feel closer to her until you’re able to hold her again 👼🤱🕊️
