A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

I have had pet rats since i was in my teens and absolutely adore them as pets....As soon as my daughter turned 14mths i purchased her a pet rat that she absolutely fell in love with and took everywhere and it made me start thinking that maybe i would like to breed them, so as that i can help other people have these experiences :-) Well with alot of research (and continuing r

esearch) I have successfully had a couple of litters now. All my mom's are only bred 1-2 times in their life for they are PETS and not just breeders. My babies are handled every day (unlike pet store rats) as well as their parents come out for a minimum of an hour a day (usually more) all my rats are fed Harlan Teklad Lab Block (one of the leading and recommended staple diets for rats) they are also "Spoiled Ratten" every night with extra nutritional delights (see album rattie delights for ideas). Males do NOT live with females they are put to frolick together (and supervised) outside of their cage when they are breeding :-)

BABIES

WE specialize in Blue, Siamese, Mink and variations of these colours. Our babies come to their forever homes with a carrier box, a little blankie (to help with comfort transition) and a small bag of food to get you started.**NEW** they now come with a Birth Certificate. I DO NOT breed to meet demands, I breed what i feel is comfy for me and my babies. I ONLY breed 1-2 litters at a time so as that your baby get's the attention it deserves, however this makes the amount of babies for purchase limited. But you can always check back for up coming litters. PRICES

Fancies start at $10 and go up to $12 depending on color/pattern

Dumbo's start at $15 and go up to $18 depending on color/pattern

Rex's may cost extra

We recommend if you do not have a rat already at home that you purchase in same s*x pairs....Rats are very social creatures and do better (healthier and fuller lives) with a friend

DEPOSITS

We require a 50% deposit to hold your baby. We accept E Transfer as well as you can drop by with the deposit (by appointment only)

DELIVERY

We do offer Delivery for an additional charge (cost of gas). We will only deliver up to 150kms away from our location

Just a quick update. Everyone here is doing great we have lost quite a few of our oldies from our breeding lines now. After a lot of consideration and out lives changing paths and getting more hectic. We have decided it is in the best interest of our ratties to no longer breed, as we don't feel we will have the appropriate amount of time to continue our breeding practises . We are always going to have rats as pets and enjoy the time with the ratties we already have.

I am vastly considering just privately breeding for myself. In other words I will still be breeding but only for myself as I will be keeping all babies. This way I can work harder on my lines and without pressure. People that have already gotten babies from me I will consider allowing adoption of some of these babies.

Today is a special day, our dear sweet Dizle has turned 3! She was born here on June 24 2012 to our Sparkles (mother) and Bibble (father). Just like her loving parents she has made everyday brighter and filled our life with kisses and curiosity! Love you Diz

UPDATE: Yes we are still breeding lol. I know we have been quiet for awhile and that is because we have been enjoying quality time with all of our resident ratties

I am happy to announce that we had our dream litter on December 28. We have waited 3 years to have this litter (a lot of thought went into it). None of these babies are available for adoption but I am so HAPPY that I have to share some pics
