Get ready to rev up the excitement this summer ☀️ with Monster Jam Collection 9 Pack! My 5 year old is obsessed with monster trucks and we are always building new tracks, finding new pieces to use as ramps, and we even keep a bin of monster trucks in the car for all playground visits.
This summer I am sure he will be testing out which car flips, spins and races the best! He will put his fan-favorite trucks like Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, Megalodon to the test!
Monster Trucks 🛻 providing hours of fun this summer thanks to Spin Master
Who says Europe has to be expensive? 🇳🇱✈️
We’re taking our family of four to Holland for under $3000 CAD:
• Flights: $1200 thanks to points
• membership: $325
• Car rental: $600
That leaves room for stroopwafels, canals, tulips, and all the memories ✨
Travel hacking + home exchanging = family travel actually feels possible again.
40 looked pretty good from here ⛳️🍕🍻⚾️
A weekend away with friends thanks to was exactly the celebration we needed. The guys spent the weekend golfing, watching the Blue Jays and UFC fights, and sneaking peeks at the 15th hole right from our backyard. The girls slowed things down with pedicures and an escape board game challenge.
Together we shared pizza and baseball on Friday night, smoked meats and drinks for dinner, lots of laughs, and wrapped it all up with a waffle bar breakfast before heading home.
The perfect mix of relaxing, celebrating, and making memories for the big 4-0 🎉
made it simple to host my sons 5th Birthday party with them back in March. From the moment I arrived Ella our host helped sign us in, helped put up decorations, served the pizza 🍕 and cake 🎂 and their staff even took some photos for me. For once I got to simply enjoy the event instead of running around to host it. Mom’s lives are busy so this made it so simple from booking to enjoying! :)

Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and the last two years since April 2024 has been a medical uphill battle. To start it took 9 months to get my diagnosis as every doctor chalked it up to burnout, stress or anxiety. I knew I felt different and pushed for answers - I did many tests that all came back as negative so doctors said your fine… thankfully my naturopath and therapist both agreed I wasn’t fine - I ended up paying for Lyme testing through Garmin Labs in Germany 🇩🇪- thankfully covered by my insurance as the test was over $600. I have since had 3 tests done in Ontario that have all been negative as a result of poor testing. The recovery has not been easy but with the help of a Lyme Literate Doctor and Naturopath team, after 6 months of antibiotics and 18 months of supplements I am back to about 90%.
May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month. I’ve seen many tick posts recently, so I thought I’d share some info, most of this comes from a very helpful friend I met through the Lyme Community that lives in the same town as me and has been a great help.
1. Black legged ticks (deer ticks) can carry Lyme disease. Dog ticks and Lone Star ticks carry other pathogens.
2. Halton Hills is an established risk area for black legged ticks, as much of southern Ontario is. You can contract Lyme almost anywhere in the province.
