Believe me, I know it's easier said than done.

The biggest impacts often come from the smallest momentsβthe first sip of morning coffee, the warmth of the sun on your skin, the smell and sounds of rain and campfires, snuggling up in cozy blankets, the pure laughter of children playing, and the pure love and affection of a pet.

The trauma is real. π§΅ππΌ
I can laugh about it now (mostly), but a few days ago I was balling my eyes out while trying to fix the absolute butchery my kids did to their hair downstairs. I really wish I grabbed a photo of the "in-between" madness, but I was in pure survival mode.
Turns out, my kids playing "barber shop" triggered some deep childhood trauma of my own DIY haircut disasters (shoutout to everyone who called me a boy in the 90s). π«
So when my kids came up the stairs looking like they got into a fight with a lawnmower... all that trauma came rushing back.
My nervous system needed a massive reset after this one. π§ββοΈ

After a couple of months away doing the healing that was needed, I am finally back. And we have some catching up to do!
When I first started this page and this business, I knew I wanted things to be different. I wanted to be real. I wanted to show the actual ups and downs of lifeβnot just the glorified, picture-perfect moments that make everyone else feel like they're falling short.
Letβs be real: as humans, we hate showing the world our daily struggles. Especially on social media, where everyone has an opinion or a "fix" for your life, and some people just want to make you feel small so they can feel big.
Fear of judgment is a powerful thing. It holds so many of us back.
But I have to keep reminding myself: peopleβs opinions are like as****es. Everyone has one, and they stink. π€·ββοΈ The naysayers aren't meant to be in your corner anyway, and they sure as hell arenβt paying your bills.
So, here is my commitment to you moving forward:
