Turf is the oldest Lawn Care Company in canada. Established in 1962 Turfking Barrie is owned and operated by Ken and Maureen Murray since 1986.
They have been married since 1972, have three grown children, and now three grandchildren. Ken is a graduate of the University of Guelph, with a B.Sc. in Agriculture; Maureen is a retired R.N. They live on a hobby farm in Oro-Medonte, where Ken raises horses. In 1990 Ken became owner and franchisor of Turf King; As a result, Turf King Barrie became head office.
