The world lost an angel yesterday. Kim Watson was a tireless warrior that fought for the safety and dignity of countless animals during her years as the head of our Luperon sanctuary since 2018. Her impact to the people and animals she met can never truly be measured: thousands of lives have been impacted. She has left ripples in our hearts that will never fade. Please take a moment to send your love to Kim’s family and all that were fortunate enough to know her well. Her favorite quote by Socrates did well to summarize how she saw the world: “Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people.” Kim had the unique ability to see past opinion or circumstances to help where it was truly needed. She has left a legacy of love and compassion that will never be eclipsed. Rest easy friend. We will miss you more than words can say. ❤️

Another one of our girls, Mika, has passed away 💔 but the amazing thing is that she was super loved for 11 years which we are so thankful for. She was given a chance at a home and a full life after being a stray in Dominican Republic.
