🧸 A Special Free Book for Families! 📖

I usually share stories through sign language, storytime, and songs, but today, I’m excited to share something different—my very own children’s chapter book, City Girl! 🎉 And guess what? It’s FREE on Kindle for the next five days!

City Girl is a heartfelt story about family, love, and new experiences, following twin sisters as they explore their family cottage. One twin is nervous about the changes, but through hikes, lake swims, boat rides, and campfire songs, she learns to embrace the adventure. 🏕️🌲

This book is deeply personal to me—not only is it based on my own childhood memories in Northern Canada, but it also became a tribute to a dear friend. Our original illustrator sadly passed away before completing the artwork, and her sister stepped in to finish it with love. 💛

Whether you’re looking for a cozy read-aloud story or a book for independent readers, City Girl is perfect for families and kids of all ages!

📲 Download it FREE on Kindle today!

I dressed as “Where’s Waldo” for Halloween this year. Can you find me?!

To sign WHERE, raise your pointer finger and move it from side to side, like you’re wondering WHERE it is.

A great game to play using the sign WHERE, is to hide a recognizable object under a small blanket. Sign and say WHERE, and you can use the sign for the hidden object as a vocabulary bonus! For example, “WHERE, DOLL?”, “WHERE, BALL”, “WHERE, BABY”. So many fun options to engage with your little one.

Let me know which objects you hide that delights your baby. :)

Flick your middle and pointer fingers under your chin, just like a when a frog ribbits and it’s throat gets big.
I wish he’d jumped for effect but alas my frog actor was on strike today.
