Proportion- What does this mean in Architectural Design?

The visual effect to the comparative relationships of various objects and spaces, with respect to their size.

Emphasis- What does this mean in Architectural Design?

Certain features in a design will attract our eye and can create focal points. We can achieve emphasis through geometric volumes, lines, and size, and also through alternating colours and materials.

One of our favorite ways to create emphasis is with glazing, and more specifically, pulling daylight into our interior spaces to elevate our daily enjoyment.

What's your favorite?
