As we watch the progress of the David and Helen Capin Regional Centre for Pets and People (RCPP), we are blown away by seeing our new home come together. We are privileged to be working with our construction firm, Bertram Construction, who demonstrate every day the care and value they place in projects like this, and by extension, in our community.

We were honoured to be the recipients of a $10,000 donation generously given by Bertram toward the RCPP project. This holiday season, their generosity has spread far throughout Simcoe County, and we are grateful for the good they are building far beyond building foundations. Thank you, Bertram, for supporting us in such a meaningful way.

The ADHS Expansion is nearly finished thanks to the professionalism and hard work of our project managers, Bertram Construction of Barrie. We expect to receive the keys to the kingdom before Christmas!

Lisa Bertram President and CO of Bertram Construction and Curt Snodden VP Pre-Construction, Bertram Construction. visited the shelter today and presented Teresa Gregory, ADHS Expansion Project Manager, with a cheque for ten thousand dollars to be used to help ADHS in its dedication to creating a community where every pet has a safe, loving home and receives humane care.

Lisa Bertram stated “ This initiative reflects our values of care, respect, and responsibility and aligns with ADHS’s focus on providing shelter and adoption services. ADHS plays a critical role in our community and Bertram Construction is delighted to support ADHS in building a stronger, more compassionate community for all, including our 4-legged friends.”

Bertram Construction is committed to community-focused initiatives and is delighted to announce a $75,000 contribution to the Barrie Food Bank in 2025, empowering them to continue serving over 600 families in need each day.

Bertram Construction is pleased to support the Busby Centre in Barrie. It has been an exceptionally demanding year for Busby, with a surge in demand for their services exacerbated by numerous political challenges. In response, Bertram Construction has donated $100,000 and is calling upon the community to contribute towards helping them achieve their goal of providing housing support. Every dollar contributed will be doubled during this campaign. Everybody is Somebody!
