All sessions have flexible scheduling and will be fully tailored to all players/ team needs, based on goals, abilities, and current skill level! This Summer, Simcoe Lacrosse, will host a 3-day youth lacrosse camp from August 29th- August 31st, right here in Simcoe County! This camp is open for U11, U13, & U15's (2007-2012 YOB) and will take place each day from 9am-2pm! Each day will include box lacrosse skill development, field lacrosse skill development, scrimmages, as well as fun recreational activities! Additionally, we will have goalie specific training for both box & field goalies each day of camp, held by Guardian Goaltending! All skill levels are welcome to attend as there will be stations & groups set up to accommodate all abilities! This camp will be hosted by current and former professional lacrosse players!

We are thrilled to announce that we have officially partnered with the Barrie Bomber's Jr.C Lacrosse Club‼️

This partnership will include a multifaceted collaborative approach to grow lacrosse within Simcoe County! This collaboration will include teaming up to host camps, clinics & other programs for local youth lacrosse with the joint mission to continue to increase development & participation through the minor ranks within Simcoe County!

Additionally, Simcoe Lacrosse will be supporting the Barrie Bomber's Jr.C's throughout their upcoming season as they begin their quest for the Championship this Friday at home at the Peggy Hill Community Centre‼️

This scheduling will allow players to utilize this program to get additional reps with our professional coaching and to take your game to the next level during the minor season!

Simcoe Lacrosse Academy Summer Training is a 6-week program, with weekly skill development sessions, coached by NLL pro's, all hosted right here in Simcoe County! This program is perfect to take your game to the next level during your minor season!

Each session is designed to develop and improve player's skills such as shooting, passing, catching, loose balls, dodging, cradling, lacrosse IQ, etc! Each floor time will include 45 minutes of skill development drills to help to rapidly develop various skills so that players can then apply these skills throughout their minor lacrosse season!

Our Skill Development Training Approach:
Each skill development training session is 45 minutes long, and will include drills designed, prepared, and implemented by our coaching staff. Drills are designed to target the development of specific skills, and with our small groups and drill design, players will get high volume repetitions to develop each skill as they work with our coaches from junior, collegiate and professional ranks!

Minor Club Training is available for full teams to register and to utilize our professional coaching staff to excel their overall team and individual development!

In this program, teams will register for 2, 4, or 6 weeks of training with 1 session per week where we will help support teams, help to provide additional coaching and skill development, and gives local minor players the opportunity to be coached by local professional lacrosse players!

To further support clubs, OLA organizations, & long term player development, Simcoe Lacrosse will donate $10 of each players registration fee back to their club/ organization!

More information:
- Sessions are all 1 hour long
- Teams will be required to wear full gear
- All players must bring their own water bottles

Introducing Hockey Crosse Training: Lacrosse for hockey players! Play lacrosse, get better at hockey! Registration is now open!

Improve your on ice skills by learning the transferable skills of lacrosse! This summer, full teams can book lacrosse training session as a method of off-ice training! Additionally, we will also have a drop-in time slot, Thursdays at 6:45pm beginning June 9th for individual hockey players over the course of the summer! All equipment, including sticks, will be available for teams to use at each session!

FULL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Hockey Crosse Training is a program offered where hockey players have the opportunity to participate in a cross-training style workout by playing lacrosse in a fun & structured setting with our professional lacrosse coaches!

We will provide each player a lacrosse stick to use for their session upon arrival to the rink. In each session, our coaches will work with players to teach the transferable skills of lacrosse, such as catching, passing, shooting, running with the ball, protecting the ball from defenders, and more, which will positively translate to on-ice performance by improving hand-eye-coordination, stick handling, footwork, conditioning, creativity, stick protection and more! These skills will be taught through the use of drills & fun games, making this program a great off-season training alternative, as well as a fun team building activity!

What you'll need for your session:
✅ Lacrosse helmet with cage or hockey helmet with cage
✅ Running shoes
✅ Water bottle
