** Summer Safety Reminder for Our Furry Friends ️**

As temperatures rise, it's important to remember that our pets can be affected by the heat much more quickly than we are.

- Choose your walk times wisely. Early morning and late evening walks are often the safest and most comfortable times for your dog.

- Be mindful of exercise. On hot days, limit strenuous activity and watch for signs of overheating such as excessive panting, weakness, drooling, or difficulty breathing.

- Take extra precautions with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds such as Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, and French Bulldogs. These pets are at a much higher risk of heatstroke and may struggle to cool themselves effectively.

- Check the pavement before heading out. If it's too hot for the back of your hand for 7 seconds, it's too hot for your pet's paws and can cause painful burns.

- Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle. Even with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can rise dangerously within minutes and become life-threatening.

A little extra caution can help ensure everyone enjoys a safe and happy summer season. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give your pets plenty of opportunities to rest in the shade!

🌈 World Pet Memorial Day 🌈

Today, we take a moment to remember the beloved pets who have left paw prints on our hearts forever.

Our pets are more than companions—they are family. They greet us at the door, comfort us during difficult times, celebrate life's happiest moments, and love us unconditionally. Though their time with us is never long enough, the memories they leave behind stay with us always.

On this World Pet Memorial Day, we honour the cherished friends we have loved and lost. Whether they were by your side for years or only a short time, their impact on our lives is immeasurable.

Pictured here are just a few of the beloved pets from the Trinity family who are deeply missed but never forgotten.

We invite you to share a photo or memory of a cherished pet in the comments and help us celebrate the joy, love, and companionship they brought into our lives.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. 🌈🐾

June is National Pet Preparedness Month

Emergencies can happen when we least expect them, and being prepared can make all the difference for your pets. This month is a great reminder to make sure your furry family members are included in your emergency plans.

Here are a few important pet preparedness tips:
- Keep an emergency kit with food, medications, leashes, carriers, and medical records
- Ensure your pet’s microchip information is up to date
- Have a list of emergency contacts and nearby veterinary hospitals
- Refill medications before you run low
- Create an evacuation plan that includes your pets

A little preparation today can help keep your pets safe tomorrow ️
