Today’s movement looked a little different.
It started with a long run through quiet trails and sunshine. It ended covered in mud, laughing my way through obstacles with my daughter.
Some days movement is about training.
Some days it's about connection.
Some days it's about adventure.
The best days are when it's all three.
Movement doesn't have to look the same every day to be meaningful. Run. Walk. Play. Race. Explore. Find ways to move that bring you joy.
Every step counts. 💜🏃♀️☀️

Had a 30-minute break in my schedule, so I stepped outside for some sunshine, fresh air, and a quick walk. ☀️🚶♀️ Every little bit of movement counts.

Physical health is only one piece of wellness. 💛
Today at therapy, I was encouraged to start journaling my feelings, so I picked up a new journal and printed a feelings wheel to help put words to what’s going on beneath the surface.
Taking care of your mental and emotional health matters too.
Healing isn’t just about stronger muscles or healthier habits... it’s also about self-awareness, processing emotions, and making space for growth.
Sometimes wellness looks like a workout.
Sometimes it looks like sitting quietly with your thoughts and learning to name your feelings.

Not all trees bloom at the same time. 🌿
On my run today, I noticed something beautiful... on the same street, one tree was still bare, another just starting to bud, and another in full bloom.
Same soil. Same weather. Different timing.
Our bodies are a lot like that.
In rehab, fitness, and health, it’s easy to look around and feel behind… but progress isn’t meant to be synchronized. Healing takes time. Strength builds in seasons. And growth often starts beneath the surface before you ever see it.
Wherever you’re at right now; just starting, slowly progressing, or thriving... keep going.
Your season is coming.

Healthy doesn’t have to be complicated 🙌
Today’s lunch = simple, nourishing, and doable:
• Quinoa with pumpkin seeds + a dill dressing
• Greek yogurt with flax, h**p, and a few chocolate chips
• Fresh cucumber on the side
Balanced meals aren’t about perfection, they’re about consistency. When you keep it simple, it’s way easier to stay on track, fuel your body well, and feel good through your day.
If your meals feel overwhelming, try stripping things back:
protein + fibre + healthy fats = a great place to start 💡

You don't have to wait until pain becomes severe to see a physiotherapist.
Physio can help with injuries, chronic pain, recovery after surgery, and even preventing problems before they start.
If you've ever wondered what a physiotherapist actually does, the newest blog breaks it down in simple terms.

Sometimes family hikes look like good attitudes, smiling faces, and everyone walking happily together…
…and sometimes they look like three kids spaced 20 metres apart so nobody “accidentally” bumps into each other 😅
But here’s the win: Yesterday we still got outside. We still moved. We still breathed in some fresh air and hit the trails as a family (even if it looked more like a hiking relay team than a group).
Movement doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth it.
It just has to happen.
Happy Monday from our slightly spread-out crew 🌲👣

We spent yesterday on the slopes as a family — and our kids learned to ski. ❄️
There were plenty of falls, lots of laughter, and a whole lot of getting back up again.
Watching them build confidence, balance, and resilience in real time was such a good reminder of why movement matters. It’s not just about exercise. It’s about being able to say yes to full days outside, learning new skills, and making memories together.
At Origin Physiotherapy, that’s what we care about — helping you move well so you can live fully.
Strong bodies. Confident movement. More days like this.

There’s something pretty special about discovering your neighbourhood park has turned into a rink overnight. ❄️
We headed out for a family walk this afternoon… and ended up lacing up skates instead. Sunshine, fresh air, rosy cheeks, and a whole lot of movement.
At Origin, we believe strength isn’t just built in the clinic — it’s built in moments like this. On the ice. On the trails. In everyday family fun.
Stronger starts at Origin. And it carries into everything you love to do. 💛
