Ancaster Scouting

15 scouters from Ancaster Scouting and several from 1st Hamilton West Mountain Scouting received an Ontario Volunteer Service award last night pictured with Sandy Shaw. We were missing those who
were with their sections prepping for Camp! We are thankful to be part of Scouts Canada serving in Ontario.

All sections sleep over camp; "Night Ops" at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum a great event!

Ancaster Scout section at camp Wetaskiwin. Winter camp this year was warmer than expected so it included hiking instead of snowshoeing and snow hut building instead of Quinzhee building.

📣 Students & Families — Volunteer Hours Opportunity!

High school students can earn volunteer hours by helping with the 34th Annual Ancaster Community Food Drive, supporting 8 local agencies across Hamilton 💙
There’s still plenty of time to get involved!

Flyer delivery — Sat. Feb 28 to Tues. March 3

Food pick-up day — Sat. March 7

🚶 Flyer Delivery (Feb 28–Mar 3)
Walk door-to-door along a mapped route to deliver flyers. Flexible timing and more fun with family or friends!

🚗 Food Drive Day – Sat. March 7
A vehicle is required to collect donations and drop them off at the Ancaster Fairgrounds.

📦 Extra help needed!
We’re also looking for adults and teens (16+) to assist with unloading vehicles at the fairgrounds on March 7. Please specify if you (or a team) can help.

We are half way through our Kub Kar project!

Beavers buried Chatter and gave her a mermaid tail of snow!

Ancaster Cubs had fun on a winter hike! You can still get hot at -17 a good lesson on layers!

Scouts had fun putting their pioneering skills to use this week!
