This morning at Curious & Kind was a whirlwind of visits! The town inspector stopped by, and then and Zaakirah from came by to talk creative endeavors and hang Ayesha’s work on the wall! It’ll be up until the end of June and you’ll be able to buy limited edition prints, cards and even the originals at the grand opening on June 12th! Then the incredible folks from dropped by! Plus a few other friends and my wonderful landlord, and our electrician! Everything is coming together! We can’t wait until you get to see it!! If you haven’t followed Curious & Kind Inc. yet, please do! This page will be shutting down on June 12th!

Our inspection is today, and is coming to take pictures in the space, and I’ve hung out temporary vinyl sign, and I’ve got our business card in my pocket and the back says “I’m glad you exist”. Because that’s how I feel. None of this can happen without you. 💖

This is just a lovely reminder that the name and location of this venue have changed, but the intentions are all the same! Head on over to Curious & Kind Inc. and give that page a like, I’ll be closing down this page soon so it’ll be less confusing, and re-writing all the thank yous for all those folks who helped in the first phase of the crowd-funding for this adventure! This is happening because of you! The grand opening, in Almonte, is Wednesday June 12th.

The toilets and fixtures are in both bathrooms, and the plumbing is up and running! It’s real. It’s happening. I’ve never cried with joy about toilets before, but here we are. @ Almonte, Ontario

The new name of the venue is Curious & Kind but drawing an ampersand is going to take some work, so here is the poster I drew up to put in the window of the new building I found for the venue!
