This video is brought to you by coffee 3 and 4 of the day ☕️ . I love freshening up the window at the shop, it’s a chance to get creative and give a little teaser of what Threadwork has to offer. Today I’m dressing this mannequin in the Raccoon eco-tee by Kindred Coast and a fantastic green paisley short sleeve button up by local maker, Mottel.

What do I look for in a perfect tee? The perfect fit, the right fabric, low maintenance care and a piece that does good in more than just my closet. Kindred Coast’s Hummingbird tee fits that criteria to a tee(See what I did there? 😉). This Canadian made cutie starts off fitted and then relaxes away from the body as it flows down and ends in a shirt-tail style hem, so its perfect for wearing loose or tucking in! The fabric comfort might even be more important to me than fit, because if it doesn’t breathe and feel good next to my skin, there is no way its coming out of the drawer. Organic cotton provides moisture wicking and breathablity and recycled polyester (from water bottles!) adds softness and long lasting shape, both of these fabrics are low maintenance care for, which is a bonus!
