As you all know, I don’t have any formal floral design training under my belt. I’m just drawn to a garden-inspired, airy style that makes everything feel weightless.

​Honestly, it’s all about the feeling. I’m completely chasing a vibe here (omg, is this an addiction?).

But seriously, it has to feel like actual light in my chest. Once that feeling hits, I know the bouquet is ready.

The ranunculus season is on its last leg — last week’s heat really took a toll.

Once the soil temperature hits around 20°C, ranunculus throw in the towel and go dormant. That means this coming week is your final chance to get fresh, local ranunculus from the farm in 2026.

Don’t be a flower amateur and miss out.

Farm store hours:
🌸 Thursday, June 18 — 4 to 7 PM
🌸 Saturday, June 20 — 9 AM to 1 PM

Guys!!!! The foxglove this year is absolutely insane?
I grew this variety from seed...I wish I could remember the name ..

All are 3+ft.

Just imagine the structure they bring to a design.

Picture a wedding, white wash ceramic vessels, ranunculus,peonies, spirea and this precise foxglove!

I wish I was creative to know how to design with it. But I just know how to grow it...and that's pretty awesome too.

And honestly… there is something incredibly magical about the flower tunnels in the rain. The sound of the raindrops on the tunnels, the lush blooms, the misty forest walk in… it feels like a secret garden today.

The driveway is gravel, the farm is grass (not mud!), and the flower tunnels are fully open for wandering and exploring.

A quick note before arriving:
Parking is at the entrance of the driveway and guests will walk approximately 1000 ft through the forest to reach the farm. People with reduced mobility will absolutely be allowed to drive directly in to the farm.

Just bring:
☔ a rain jacket or umbrella
👢 practical shoes
🌸 and your love for flowers

We will be keeping an eye on the weather throughout the day, especially toward the end of the event if thunderstorms develop.

But for now — the flowers are blooming, the mocktails are ready, the saxophone is playing, and we can’t wait to welcome you to the farm.

Tomorrow is the Spring Flower Fest 🌸

And yes… the forecast is calling for rain.

But if there’s one thing flower farming teaches you, it’s that weather forecasts change constantly — especially around here. So we’re moving forward with the event rain or shine and staying hopeful that Mother Nature gives us a break.

The flower tunnels are full and beautiful, the peonies are almost ready to open, the ranunculus are at their peak, the foxglove is towering, and the farm feels absolutely magical right now.

We’ll still have:

Flowers everywhere
Fresh bouquets
Mocktails from The Tipsy Mare
Sourdough goodies from Samson Acres Farm Stand
Live saxophone music by the incredibly talented Ruvim
Covered greenhouse space to wander through

Honestly, there’s something extra special about flowers on a moody spring day anyway.

That said, if severe thunderstorms develop, we may need to reconsider and play things by ear last minute for everyone’s safety. We’ll keep you updated here if anything changes.

This year's edition of the festival places special emphasis on one of the most loved flowers of the season: the ranunculus. With thousands of blooms in the fields, celebrate spring in the most beautiful way!🌞

4 days until the Spring Flower Fest

One of our favourite parts of this event is bringing together wonderful local people alongside the flowers.

This year we’ll have:

— serving beautiful handcrafted mocktails from their mobile bar, including some made with herbs grown right here on the farm.

Acres Farm Stand — bringing their incredible sourdough creations (and honestly… their bagels are dangerously good).

🎷 And throughout the event, live saxophone music by Ruvim, a 16-year-old refugee from Ukraine whose talent is absolutely extraordinary. The first time we heard him play, we couldn’t believe our ears.

Add in thousands of blooms, picnic space, spring sunshine, and rows upon rows of ranunculus, foxglove, peonies about to bloom… and it’s going to feel pretty magical around here.
