For the cost of just one cup of coffee/month you can share with your Dad the compassion you feel for sheep, chickens, cows and other farm animals rescued from difficult circumstances.

Together, you can provide basic necessities like food, water, and veterinary care, as well as love, companionship, and a true sense of security.
This Father’s Day, give him something that won’t end up in a drawer.

All was going well until …..

For as little as the cost of one cup of coffee per month, your Dad can provide food, bedding, and medical treatment to rescued farm animals who deserve a second chance at life.

Monthly giving allows us to make sure that every creature in our care gets the best care possible. And that means more than everything to animals like Barney the goat, Frankie the pig, and Little Miss Muffet the chicken.

We bought a squeeze shoot and then scheduled a vet visit. And then Peanut wouldn’t come near it ☹️

So we’ve been working really hard to help Peanut feel safe in her squeeze shoot. This means feeding her meals close to it and after a few weeks all the way inside!
We’re almost ready to call the vet so she can receive treatment. Thankfully it’s not an emergency but she’s just had an ongoing issue with a recurring abscess.

Thank you to our animal care volunteers who work tirelessly to care for all our animals 365 days a year and go above and beyond ❤️

Thank you to our donors who helped us purchase this equipment that was so needed 💕

When offered to host an employee work day at Kindred, they weren't fooling around 💪
26 people showed up for two hours and GOT TO WORK!

So many projects were crossed off our list:
- filling garden boxes with the mature manure pile (no need to purchase soil)
- setting up the digging box in the outdoor bunny yard
- setting up Hazel's outdoor area with mats
- deep cleaning a barn stall to get ready for a medical stall for some sick - - birds (no need to worry about the next generation, the very young children swept and mopped the mats until it was sparking clean)
- didn't just clip blackberries but dug them out by the roots in the memorial garden
- dug the 6x6 box for the water tank concrete pad (using a pic axe)
- and smiles all around 😄

Oh and donated all the material for the electrical system in the new barn 💖

THANK YOU for being so kind ❤️🇨🇦
