Most press releases get deleted in 3 seconds. Here’s how to write one that actually gets read.
We just published a new post on the DRPR blog: “How to Write a Press Release Journalists Actually Read.”
Inside, we break down:
→ The exact structure journalists want to see (hint: it’s not a blog post)
→ How to write a headline that earns the open
→ The one paragraph that matters more than everything else combined
→ How to write quotes that actually get quoted
→ The 6 signals that make your news newsworthy
→ Common mistakes that kill your release before it gets read
This isn’t theory. It’s the framework we use with our own clients — the same one behind placements in Men’s Health, Yahoo, Financial Post, and more.
And if you want the template to go with it? We’ve got a free, fillable press release template waiting for you at drpr.ca/resources.

The hard truth? One press hit won’t change your business. But a credibility stack will. 🤫
Most leaders get stuck chasing a single "viral" moment, but real authority is built in layers. When you compound your Content, Social Proof, Earned Media, and Authority Positioning, something beautiful happens: you stop chasing clients, and they start coming to you.
It’s the exact system we use at DRPR to help overlooked founders become completely unmissable. It’s strategic, it’s tailored, and it works.
Swipe through the graphic to see how each layer builds on the last! 👉🏽
Are you ready to start stacking your authority this quarter? ✨

One of our favorite projects: planning the grand opening for Archers Battlefield. Here’s what event PR looks like in action.
When Archers Battlefield came to us, they needed more than a social media post about their launch. They needed a strategic media plan that would put their grand opening on the map.
Here’s what we did:
→ Developed a full event PR strategy from the ground up
→ Wrote and distributed a press release to targeted local and industry media
→ Built a media list of journalists covering entertainment, local business, and lifestyle
→ Coordinated media invitations and on-site coverage
→ Managed social media buzz before, during, and after the event
The result? A grand opening that didn’t just fill the room, it earned the kind of coverage that kept people talking long after the doors opened.
This is one of our most popular service combinations: event planning support + media outreach + press release distribution. When you combine all three, you don’t just host an event. You create a moment.

New photos, same mission.
We recently did a brand photoshoot and I’m so excited to finally share some of these images with you. Every photo was intentional because we believe the way you show up visually is just as important as the words you use.
As a PR and content marketing agency, we help our clients tell their story with clarity and confidence. And we hold ourselves accountable to that too.
These photos represent where DRPR is right now: growing, evolving, and more passionate than ever and helping great brands get the visibility they deserve.
Get Seen. Get Trusted. Get Chosen. That’s the new statement.

The algorithm lied to you, you do not need to be posting 24/7! 💀
Posting every day with zero strategy is a fast track to burnout city. It’s not about the volume, it’s about the intent.
We’re dropping the exact 3-step routine we use at DRPR to actually drive business with just three posts a week at times. Swipe through to see how we balance building authority, getting personal, and actually securing the bag and without losing our minds. 🧠✨
Work smarter, not harder.

I didn’t start DRPR because I had it all figured out. I started because I believed every great brand deserves to be seen.
I saw talented founders, incredible business owners, and passionate leaders doing extraordinary work and nobody outside their immediate circle knew about it.
Meanwhile, competitors with louder marketing (not better work) were getting all the attention.
That didn’t sit right with me.
So I built DRPR to be the strategic partner these leaders were missing. The one who would take the time to understand their story, connect them with the right media, and build the kind of visibility that doesn’t just get attention it builds trust.
Almost 6 years later, 50+ businesses served, and 50+ campaigns later, this mission hasn’t changed.
If you’ve been the best-kept secret in your industry for too long, I’d love to change that.

You don’t need to post every day. You need to post with purpose.
Here’s the 3-post-per-week framework we use at DRPR:
Post 1️⃣: EDUCATE — Teach your audience something valuable. A tip, a framework, a how-to. Position yourself as the expert.
Post 2️⃣: CONNECT — Share something personal or behind-the-scenes. Let your audience see the human behind the brand.
Post 3️⃣: CONVERT — Share a testimonial, case study, or direct CTA. Give people a reason to take the next step.
Educate. Connect. Convert. Repeat.✨
This framework keeps your content balanced, intentional, and working toward real business outcomes — without burning out your team.
📌Save this and share it with someone who’s overthinking their content strategy.

Another client making headlines. This is what strategic PR looks like in action.
When we say we help brands go from overlooked to unmissable — this is what we mean.
This placement didn’t happen by accident. It happened because we:
→ Identified the right outlet for their audience
→ Crafted a story angle the journalist couldn’t ignore
→ Built a relationship before we ever hit “send”
Every media feature is a trust signal that works for your brand 24/7 — long after the campaign ends.
Congratulations to our amazing client. This is just the beginning.

You can buy attention. But you can’t buy trust.🧠
That’s the difference between advertising and PR.
Advertising says: “Look at us, we’re great.”
PR says: “Other credible people think we’re great.”
Which one do you think your ideal client trusts more?👀
Earned media — a feature in a respected publication, a quote in an industry article, a podcast interview — carries weight that no ad can replicate. It’s third-party validation, and it compounds over time.
This doesn’t mean ads are bad. It means they work better when they’re backed by credibility.
PR first. Ads to amplify. That’s the formula.😉
If you’ve been spending on ads without investing in your brand’s credibility, let’s talk about what’s missing. Link in bio.📲

Deep work sessions are when the magic happens. ✨
Currently building out a full media strategy for a client who’s been the best-kept secret in their industry for way too long.
Not anymore.
There’s something special about the quiet hours when you can really dig into the research, map out the right outlets, and craft pitches that tell a story worth covering.
This is the work that doesn’t make it to Instagram very often, but it’s the work that gets results.
Happy Wednesday to my fellow founders who are out here building something meaningful.☕
