I wanted to share a photo I recently received of a lovely Cracker son, Rooster. He’s a 2018 model and his owner thinks the world of him! Sure got C’s hip that’s for darn sure!

It is with a very broken heart that I make the announcement that we lost Cracker last night. Sara and her wonderful vet spent many hours pulling out all of the stops and trying to find a miracle cure but he finally succumbed to the effects of what we believe was a debilitating stroke.

He was a once in a lifetime horse. And deserved to be a stallion every second of his life. He left behind a legacy of amazing offspring and wonderful stories. Cracker had a way of touching the people he interacted with like no other horse I have known. He had an incredible mind, was multitalented, funny and stunning on top of it all.

I could say so much more about him, but suffice it to say … C my boy, you were loved, and you will be missed. RIP my friend, I know you will find beautiful mares to woo in Heaven. 💔❤️

Cracker is very big on supervising any and all activity relating to feed storage… He needs an orange vest and the little light wands to back up the delivery truck.

Apparently it’s national dog day today. Cai and Cracker were the very best of friends. I know I have photos of the two of them somewhere but I just can’t get to them at this moment. However … here’s Cai. He was a once in a lifetime dog just as Cracker is a once in a lifetime horse. Cheers to all our very best and favourite critters! 🥂🥂❤️
