⚠️ UNSECURED LOADS ARE A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD ⚠️
This is something Simple Services takes very seriously.
If your rear van doors need to be taped shut and materials like drywall are left unsecured, you’re creating a major safety risk — not only for yourself, but for every other driver on the road.
In the event of a sudden stop, sharp turn, or accident, unsecured materials can shift violently, break loose, damage vehicles, or seriously injure someone. Something as simple as improperly secured drywall can become extremely dangerous in seconds.
And if you’re a professional in a certain trade, play the part. The way you transport materials, maintain your vehicle, and conduct yourself on the road is a direct representation of you and the company behind you. People notice professionalism — and they notice carelessness too.
Load security isn’t just about protecting materials — it’s about protecting lives, reputations, and the standards we represent in our industries.
Take the extra time. Secure your load properly. 👊

🏗️ Progress continues out at the Pioneer Centre in Drumheller as it moves into the final phase of structural preparation. 🔨
This stage of the project focuses on the critical groundwork that ensures long-term strength, stability, and proper load support for the structure.
✔️ Reinforcing steel columns are currently being fabricated
✔️ Plate layout has been completed for accurate positioning and alignment
✔️ Anchor points have been drilled and prepared for installation
For many people, these steps may just look like lines and drilled holes in concrete, but this phase is one of the most important parts of the entire build process. Precision during layout and anchoring is what allows structural steel to be installed safely and correctly, ensuring everything above it performs exactly as designed. 📐⚙️
It’s rewarding watching a project move from planning into reality, and we’re excited to see this space continue to take shape over the coming weeks.
🌅 New week. Fresh start. New opportunities. 💪
Every Monday is a chance to reset, refocus, and keep building something bigger than yourself. At Simple Services, we’re heading into this week grateful for the support, the lessons, the hard work, and the people who continue to trust us with their homes and projects.
Some weeks test you. Some weeks reward you. Either way, you keep showing up. That’s what growth looks like.
This week we’re back at it — helping customers, tackling projects, solving problems, and continuing to provide the honest, reliable service our community knows us for. 🛠️
To everyone chasing goals, building businesses, supporting families, or simply doing their best day by day — keep going. Your effort matters.
Let’s make it a great week ahead. 👊

✨ Simple Services was out at Ol Mac Market today taking in the atmosphere, supporting some amazing local vendors, and checking out a few of the popular spots along the way. ☀️
Days like this are a great reminder of how important community really is. 🤝 Small businesses supporting small businesses, good conversations, great people, and a chance to slow down for a bit after a busy stretch.
Always appreciate getting out and seeing what local markets and vendors have to offer. 🙌 Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat with us today — hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!

After the kind of week Simple Services had, this was exactly what was needed.
This week came with long days, stress, weather delays, difficult conversations, constant problem solving, and the pressures that most people never see behind the scenes of running a business. At times it felt heavy.
But weeks like this also remind you what matters.
No matter how tough things get, you keep your integrity, keep showing up, keep adapting, and keep moving forward. Complaining doesn’t solve problems — hard work, patience, and mindset do.
So ending the week surrounded by good people, great fellowship, laughs around the table, and some unreal homemade food was the perfect reset.
I always love coming to Prairie Modern Kitchen in the heart of Drumheller, Alberta. Amazing food, welcoming atmosphere, and one of those places that just makes you slow down and enjoy the moment for a while.
Grateful for the people who support Simple Services, grateful for the lessons tough weeks bring, and grateful for moments like these that remind you life is about more than just work.
Here’s to a fresh week ahead 🙏
There are customers who appreciate the effort, communication, and hard work that goes into running a service business… and then there are customers who believe simply being a customer gives them the right to question your integrity, character, and reputation the moment something doesn’t go exactly to plan.
That’s not how we operate.
At Simple Services, we work hard, we communicate honestly, and we do our best to accommodate everyone fairly — especially when weather, scheduling, and long work days create unavoidable delays.
Respect is a two-way street.
We value every customer, but we will never tolerate being spoken to as though we “owe” someone unquestioned access to our time, energy, or personal character simply because they hired us. We do not tolerate this behaviour.
We operate with honesty, reliability, and respect — and we expect the same in return.
At the same time, we want to say thank you to Airdrie. We genuinely appreciate working in this community, and we’re grateful for the customers who support local business and recognize the effort that goes into every job we take on.
It’s because of that support that we keep doing what we do — and doing it with pride.
Have a great weekend everyone!

📢 PSA: The street in front of your house is public parking. 😅
This seems to be becoming more and more common around our city lately, and honestly, people need to relax a little.
I’m a very reasonable person. As a contractor, I park where I legally can while working, and I’m never there forever. Most of us are simply trying to do our jobs and help customers.
It’s one thing to politely ask someone to move if there’s a legitimate reason — elderly family visiting, unloading groceries, medical needs, moving furniture, deliveries, etc. Most reasonable people will understand and work with you.
But if the goal is simply to control the road and decide who can or can’t park on a public street, then maybe it’s time to take a step back and remember that the street belongs to everyone.
A little communication and kindness go a long way. We all share these neighborhoods, and nobody owns the curb.
Let’s remember we’re all in this together and keep things simple. 👋🚗

Another big project underway 💪
Removed the old hot tub, re-framed and re-decking the porch, and getting everything ready for the new hot tub install ♨️
A lot of work goes into projects like this behind the scenes — demolition, hauling, rebuilding, leveling, framing, and making sure everything is solid and built to last.
Seeing a space completely transformed from old and worn out to fresh and functional is always rewarding.
One step at a time, bringing this backyard back to life 🔨
Have a blessed day! 🤙🙏🫡

☀️ Starting this Saturday — and every Saturday right through September — Simple Services will be out at Ol’ Mac Resort helping with market set up, take down, and whatever needs doing throughout the day. 🙌
What looks like work to most people honestly feels like a chance to relax, spend time with my family, meet amazing people, and support incredible local vendors right here in the heart of Alberta. ❤️
This area is known as the heart of Alberta, and honestly, you can truly feel that in the atmosphere when you’re here. From the people, to the vendors, to the sense of community — it’s something special. ☀️
From handmade goods and unique crafts to great food, music, and the atmosphere of the resort itself, there’s truly something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
A huge shout out as well to Joanne MacDonald — truly the heart of this entire operation. The amount of work, organization, and passion that goes into making these markets happen does not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to support local vendors, small businesses, and the community. 🙌❤️
Fun fact: we’ll also be realigning the Simple Services schedule so we can be out there for the Wednesday evening markets as well, starting July 1st! 🎆🌅🛍️
If you’re looking for a fun outing this summer, come check out the market at Ol’ Mac Resort and support local businesses, makers, and creators. We’re proud to be part of it all season long!
Hope to see some familiar faces out there! ☀️🏕️🛍️
