The quarter glasses on this one were mounted from the inside, not the outside like most. A little different, but got it sorted 👍

And yeah… sometimes you’ve gotta get creative
Customer-supplied hockey sticks came in clutch to hold the glass in position while the urethane set up 😂

Crack prevention.

This repair helps prolong the need for a windshield replacement by stopping the crack from spreading.

Another mobile job, and this is what I found from a previous windshield replacement…

This damage was caused during a previous windshield replacement where the paint was scratched and not properly primed. This is a very common area to see damage from careless installs.

The exposed metal from the damaged paint started to rust along the pinch weld, something that can turn into a much bigger issue if not addressed early.

I was able to:
• Remove the corrosion
• Sand and treat the area
• Apply primer to protect the metal
• Finish it off with a clean molding to tidy up the repair and give it a nice finished look

Glad I caught this before it turned into major damage.

This is why taking the time to do the job right matters.

Back Glass Replacement,

Customer was told by another auto glass shop that this couldn’t be replaced with the flatbed and headache rack sitting just inches from the back window. They were told the whole unit had to be removed before the power slider could be replaced.

That would have added 6–8 hours of extra labor just to remove and reinstall the setup — not including the glass replacement itself.
We were able to save the customer time and money by working within the tight but manageable space. The replacement was completed without tearing everything apart 👍

Also replaced the windshield while the truck was here.
