And with that, Elk season is done. What a great hunt. Challenging and fun all in one. Happy to have met new friends and hunt with old ones. I am very lucky to have the things I have in this world.

An amazing weekend. Put a friend on a great first moose. Got a good one myself. Smoked turkey tonight and a whole lot of fun inbetween. Love the fall. Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Hope your weekend was filled with family, love, and laughter.

Back to my winter job, but still enjoying the fishing.

As our season is winding up, I’m getting ready to get a few of my bucket list fish set up this winter. This one I took last winter. Still waiting for my Barracuda and Marlin. We hope to help you get your bucket list Lake Trout next year! Stay tuned and we will let you all know when our booking calander will be opening for the 2026 season.

Was a week that I never planned and it was a hell of a long one, but I’m home for a night.

A day of firsts. First time I caught a Caribou swimming across the lake and the first time that I confirmed a fish I caught 5 days ago. You can see the old line burns on its back. I caught this exact same fish 5 days ago.

Tough conditions and a cold front made it challenging, but got Shawn and Tom dialled in on some beautiful trout. The rain in this area sure was a welcome sight and these guys powered through it all. .ca
