First Light Social Club

We made temporary valentines "cards" today. After giving various elements to place on a tray any way they wished, I took a photo to send to their loved ones. This was a huge hit with our club members!

There's nothing like the fresh scent of cedar and pine to awaken the senses. We made beautiful table centerpieces!

Making Christmas cards.

Many of our club members remember spending time playing the good old Canadian game of crokinole. What better way to enjoy time by the fire on a cold winter's day. We're lucky to have our very own crokinole game.

Nothing like a good stretch and laugh as the group tries out our new stretch bands.

So much focus - so much camaradarie whenever our group sits down to paint. Here you see acrylics on chestnuts and watercolour painting.

We all tried to see who could be the fastest to stack the cups. What is great to see is all the encouragement everybody gave to each other! What a team!
