It’s almost time!
Summer Camping Reservations - TIPS
We want you to have the best summer of camping in our beautiful provincial parks. If reservations help you do that, here are some tips to keep in mind:
🏕️ Get prepared: Save time by creating a new account and becoming familiar with the new service ahead of time. For helpful tutorial videos, check out our Blog https://bit.ly/3JnQZeD.
🌲 No need to rush: On March 21 our queueing system will give a random number and estimated waiting time before you are let on the site, starting at 7am PDT.
🛶 Plan ahead: There are lots of parks and thousands of campsites outside of the most popular parks.
⛰ Have a back-up plan: Have two or three park and date options before booking day. Camping is a favourite pastime in B.C. and the popular parks fill up quickly.
⛺️ Remember the two-month window: On March 21 opening day, you can book up to a May 21 arrival date (and up to two weeks for your stay).
Above all, remember to be patient and kind. Reservations will continue to release all summer long, so there will be plenty of chances to book your trips.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to our parks this year!
On Monday March 1 at 7am PT, backcountry reservations will be available for the full 2021 season for the Berg Lake Trail and the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit.
On Monday March 8 at 7am PT, most frontcountry and backcountry reservations will be available and can be booked up to two months in advance of your trip. For more information on when you can book at each park, visit: https://bcparks.ca/operating-dates/
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are not yet able to return to business as usual. B.C. residents will have priority access to camping reservations for the entire summer season. For the purpose of accessing priority reservations, a B.C. resident is someone who resides in B.C. Visitors will need to confirm they are a B.C. resident before booking a campsite. For those of you coming from out of province, reservations start July 8.
Demand for campsites will be high, so make sure you have other options in advance and review our policies for the 2021 season: https://bcparks.ca/covid-19
