Altar 12 One

I originally wrote this song about 8 years ago, but always felt that it wasn't exactly what I was wanting...so I decided a few months ago to bring it back out and 'dust' it off. I felt the verses needed more space and when I 'played' around with it I found myself writing a new chorus that said exactly what I wanted it to say. It also lead me to write a bridge as well. I love that my dear friend Kim Feeney sang it for us when we played at the 'The Artists Circle last Saturday night.

Here's a little snipped of a song we hope to launch in a bigger way in the future. It's called Bring a Revelation and it's intercession mixed with rock. Tam and her husband Steve are true 'rockers' and I LOVE the fact that this song speaks to them. Unfortunately the sound quality isn't quite what I had hoped for when we played it at the Artists The Artists Circle, but if the Lord is willing, one day there will be a recording that does it justice. 🥰🥰🥰

So the other day I had a post come across my feed by someone who will remain nameless as I wish to be as respectful as possible and to not cause anymore divisions in the body of Christ than there already are.

Anyways, this person said something that I believe was inferring a negative warning about AI because 'AI doesn't have the Holy spirit' in it. I immediately replied because I thought ' What an absurd comment ' of course AI doesn't have the Holy Spirit. AI is a machine. It can not have the holy spirit in it anymore than my car can have the Holy spirit in it. Both are machines. Neither evil or good. However, both can be used as either an instrument or vehicle for blessing or destruction.

I mean, to a degree I can understand some of 'the fear' behind AI as it is probably the post powerful machine man has ever created. And let's be real, we know that doesn't ever work out well for man in the long run. AND, I do believe it has a part in the prophecy illustrated in Daniel and Revelation. BUT, do you not also agree that this machine in the hands of those WITH the Holy spirit within them can now reach that much more souls for the Kingdom? Can we not go into all the world and make disciples by using new creative tools?

The time is short. We MUST make the most of it while we still can!

Yesterday was a very sad day for us as we lost our dear friend and fellow worshiper of Jesus Christ, Dana Wright. We rejoice though because we know that she was finally free from all the pain she had been enduring these past few years. We will be forever grateful for her courage, strength, love and friendship. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, educator and mentor that will be greatly missed. We will always love you Dana 💔💔💔
