Imooto Events

As many of you already know, my wedding last night was my final wedding as Imōto Events.

When I started this journey almost 10 years ago, I had no idea what it would evolve into. I had no ideas that helping my future SIL would turn into helping one of best friends would turn into launching my official wedding business 3 years ago that would then be stifled by a global panini.

I’ve had to pivot (PIVOT), learn, and grow as a person. I had to find the calm and the serenity in the crazy, it was not always easy

I have such gratitude beyond measure for a decade of love stories woven into perfect moments. As the final chapter closes on my wedding coordinating journey, it's with immense appreciation for every couple's trust.

Thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful 'I do's'. For letting me make your wedding dreams come to life. For allowing me to be present on such an important life event.

Here's to cherishing these memories and making space for new adventures and opportunities ahead.

Hey everyone! As many of you have asked about I have been a little awol on this page, and as some of you know that is because the past few months have been wonderfully crazy.

My family welcomed my beautiful niece into the world, I’ve been working at a new day job, going through a pretty personal healing journey and my fiancé and I are planning our own wedding!

I wanted to hop on and let y’all know there are some changes coming to Imōto Events. I don’t know exactly what that entails yet but be sure to continue following so you can be the first to receive an update.

On Saturday I got the privilege of ending my 2021 wedding season in the best way possible, witnessing two beautiful humans wedding dreams come true in front of my eyes.

Sam and I started working together at the end of 2019, and in just a short time it became clear, our brains function pretty much the same! This made working with Sam an absolute joy! Sam, alongside our other coworker (at the time) Whitney, are pretty much the main reason I stayed sane during work at the height of COVID. During our time working together Sam and I decided that we were like two peas in a pod, and the title has stuck.

Fast forward to September 2021, where we are getting ready for Sam and Ryan’s big day! From a chilli and grilled cheese filled planning session, to the sunny and relaxed dinner, Sam made my job so easy! Her amazing talent to remain calm and organized made her big day a dream to coordinate.

To my ex-team mate, my friend, my fellow pea, thank you again for letting me be apart of your big day! 🤍✨

I will be out of office from now until Oct 4.

During this time I will be back in Sooke at ’s Lion and Rose retreat and therefore will be unavailable via phone or email.

Today definitely went off without a hitch and I could not be more excited to watch these two crazy kids built their beautiful marriage together.

I am so thankful for T & E’s amazing family, and friends who showed up early and stayed late to help me pack up. Although never expected, it is such a beautiful surprise when it happens.

Also a huge shout out to Mrs. Trethewey for graciously letting us use her stunning home and property.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of coordinating M & C’s wedding at the beautiful Heronsbridge Weddings property here in Abbotsford.

With such a beautiful property, amazing friends and family, fun animals, and a best friend who stepped up to be my assistant for the day; I could not have asked for a better kick off to wedding season.
