Rain & Hail has closed all sales in SK for the 2023 year, there is still Additional Municipal Hail, (AMHL), Canadian Hail (Can Hail), and COOP for your crop hail insurance. Contact me today for more information.

Municipal Hail is once again providing 5 - $1000 scholarships to students enrolled in a university or technical institute in the province of Saskatchewan. Successful applicants will be notified by July 31, 2023.

DID YOU KNOW that you can also purchase coverage on crops not insured with SMHI and top up coverage up to $500 per acre with ADDITIONAL MUNICIPAL HAIL INSURANCE and a limit above $500 maybe written subject to head office approval. Feel free to message me for more information.

You should find your crop reports in the mail in the next few days. SMHI has set the 2023 maximum indemnity limit at $425 per acre. Remember you can increase your indemnity with AMHI. Feel free to contact me for more information.

GOOD TO KNOW:
Acres x Indemnity = Coverage
100 acres × $100 = $10,000

Acres x Indemnity x Charged Rate = Premium
100 acres of lentils w/$100 indemnity, basic rate
of 2.4% with 10 straight deductible coverage
Example: 100 × $100 × 2.5% = $250 premium
