We had the honor of joining Career Day at Armenia Government School to showcase the many career opportunities within The Belize Collection.
From hospitality and guest services to culinary and our stables team, students got a closer look at the different departments that help create unforgettable experiences across Belize. The highlight of the day was seeing the students interact with the horses, learning about their care, asking questions, and having so much fun meeting them up close.

The Great Curassow (Crax rubra) is a large bird with a glossy black plumage and a distinctive, curled crest. Native to the forests of Belize, these curassows are known for their striking appearance.
Fun Facts:
The Great Curassow is one of the largest birds found in Belize’s rainforests and can grow up to 3 feet long.
Males and females look completely different. Males are glossy black with a bright yellow k**b on their beak, while females can be brown, reddish, or striped.
The Great Curassow plays an important role in Belize’s forests by spreading seeds after eating fruit, helping new trees grow.
The curassow is often seen as a symbol of healthy rainforest ecosystems in Central America.
