📍Coral House Inn, 151 George Price Street, Punta Gorda

The American Citizens Services Unit will provide an overview of their services, accept passport applications, and answer questions. No appointment is required.

Before you attend the event, please follow the instructions on our Passport Appointment Checklist at bz.usembassy.gov and bring the required documents with you. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Please note that all passport fees must be paid online and each applicant must bring a payment receipt confirmation along with their completed application and supporting documentation. No cash, credit cards, or checks will be accepted at the event. No notarial services will be provided at the event.

📢 Representatives from the Regional Federal Benefits Office will visit Belmopan to offer services for beneficiaries or individuals with questions about U.S. Social Security benefits.

🗓️ July 7th 8am to 4pm through July 9th from 8am to 4pm

Walk-in Services, no prior appointment necessary but be prepared to wait.

What to bring for social security services: (bring the originals and legible copies of all documents to be submitted).

Applying for Social Security Benefits: Bring originals and one copy of the following for all applicants: birth certificate, passport. If applying for auxiliary benefits or survivor’s benefits, also bring marriage certificate and/or death certificate.

Social Security Number Card Application under age 12: Bring a copy of your valid U.S. passport, certificate of birth abroad or original birth certificate if registered after age-5 and completed form SS-5FS.

Social Security Number Card Application over age 12: Bring a copy of your valid U.S. passport, certificate of birth abroad or original birth certificate if registered after age-5, completed form SS-5FS.

The applicant must be present for an in-person interview.

Proof of all the years the applicant has been residing abroad, e.g. letter from kindergarten, elementary school, high school, university indicating the dates he/she has been a student, vaccines records, medical records, identifications or passports (valid or expired), employer’s letters, marriage certificate, divorce certificates, child’s birth certificates, etc.

Please note that you should bring the original and one copy of each document.

U.S. Visa Update❗️If you are not a national of Belize, or if Belize is not your residence, you should NOT apply for your U.S. visa at Embassy Belmopan. Fees paid for applications scheduled at a U.S. embassy or consulate outside of the applicant’s country of nationality or residence will not be refunded and cannot be transferred.
