Over Time, wear and tear can cause your headphones to lose sound in one ear, produce quieter sound, cut out intermittently or stop working entirely. Here are some tips to make your headphones last longer;

1. Safely wrapping the cable: wrapping the cord of your headphones tightly can strain the wiring and break it overtime. Instead, loosely loop the cord around your hand and place the plug through the upper loop to tie the loop together.

2. Protect the weak points: whenever you disconnect your headphone from a device, don't pull on the cable instead, pull on the plug directly similarly with the earbuds when reomiving it from your ears.

3. Cleaning your headphones: Dust and earwax can get into your headphones, causing the sound to go out or become quiet. Pull off the covers of your in-ear headphones and remove debris from them. You can even wash the earpiece to remove dirt from them.

4. Buying durable headphones: No matter how well you take care of your headphones, some models have weaker wiring that will fail overtime. A higher price doesn't always mean a better quality. Look for headphones with thicker cables especially around connections. Right angle plugs also help with protection of the cable. You can even purchase a wireless headphone and eliminate the cord all together that is if your device is compatible.

The transistor Revolutionized technology as we know it today. The first transistor was invented back in 1947 and today it can be found in all technology we use including TV's, phones, radios, and even your calculator. The CPU in your computer contains billions of transistors compacted into a small chip which turns off (0) and on (1) to give a combination of 0s and 1s. 4. Hard drives are especially sensitive to drops so take extra care not to drop them
5.Keep backups on your computer or in a cloud storage
