Let me tell you WHY this is NOT TRUE
Businesses depend on their consumers to make money!
Imagine if everyone decided to stop buying pre-cut and peeled fruits in a plastic packaging (which is really lame...). The shop proposing this product won't be able to sell them anymore. With no one buying them, the shop won't have the choice to change what it proposes.
It is as simple as that!
This is why we, as consumers, have massive power! WE can decide what we want the shop to sell to us!
Consumers started to say no to plastic straws, plastic bags, disposable cutleries, unnecessary packaged products and everywhere now we can see alternatives that are more ecofriendly. Seeing how consumer choices changed, government had no choice but to ban some products - isn't this a victory?
Let's carry on our efforts and report unsustainable practices!
Send us a picture with the name of the shop and we will post it on our Instagram by tagging the business. If we all get together, businesses won't have the choice than to change otherwise they'll loose precious customers!
