Protecting the lifeline of the Okavango Delta At the heart of northern Botswana’s Kalahari Desert lies one of Africa’s most remarkable natural treasures, but changing circumstances are putting its future at risk.

The Makgadikgadi Zebra Migration is one of Southern Africa’s most surprising phenomena. Each year, zebras trek between the Okavango Delta and Makgadikgadi Pans in search of fresh grazing.

Today we celebrate World Elephant Day, a day dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world's elephants.

We should all commit to their protection.
