Energy Systems Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified, motivated, and dynamic individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineer Intern based in Ghanzi.

**Contract Duration:** One (1) Year Fixed-Term Internship Contract

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist with the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Company's solar plant in Ghanzi.
* Conduct routine inspections of the solar plant and associated electrical infrastructure.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and attend to electrical and solar system faults to ensure minimal downtime.
* Assist with the maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning of electrical and solar equipment.
* Monitor plant performance and report any abnormalities, faults, or operational concerns.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, fault logs, and technical reports.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.
* Assist with project planning, implementation, and commissioning activities where required.
* Liaise with technicians, contractors, and management to ensure the efficient operation of the solar plant.
* Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Knowledge of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems and Renewable Energy Technologies is essential.

* Basic understanding of electrical fault finding and maintenance practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
* Valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
